Rim Suan — meaning "edge of the garden" in Thai — was established in Hua Hin by a small group of people who had spent years working in hospitality and elder care, and who felt that the two worlds rarely came together well enough.
The founding idea was simple: that a senior residence should feel like a home worth choosing, not simply a place to be placed. That meant starting with the garden, which at Rim Suan is not decorative — it is central. Residents helped shape the planting, the paths, and the seating areas from the very beginning.
Over the years, our community has grown steadily and thoughtfully. We have not rushed to expand. Each person who joins Rim Suan is known by name, and that remains important to us at every stage of growth.
